Acceptance of Agreement

By accessing or using the Geode Glimmer marketplace, you're confirming that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service. This is a legally binding contract. If you don't agree with any part of these terms, we'll have to ask you to refrain from making any purchases.

Why do we have these? To ensure that both collectors and enthusiasts have a transparent, protected experience when acquiring rare specimens. We've updated our policies for 2024 to reflect new digital security standards.

Shipping & Fragility Insurance

Shipping minerals isn't like shipping books. These specimens are geological wonders that have survived millions of years, but a rough ride in a delivery van can be their undoing. At Geode Glimmer, we take packing seriously.

• All items over $200 require a signature upon delivery.
• Geode insurance is mandatory and included in your checkout price.
• We use double-box methodology for all specimens containing delicate crystal clusters (like Apophyllite or Scolecite).

Does shipping liability end when it leaves our NYC facility? Generally, risk of loss passes to you once the carrier takes possession, but we'll always advocate for our customers during claims processes.

Return Policy for Fragile Items

We want you to be thrilled with your new specimen. However, due to the unique electronic-chemical nature of minerals, returns are handled with extreme care. You've got 7 days from delivery to notify us of any issues.

Items must be returned in their original packaging with all labels intact. We don't accept returns for items that have been cleaned, cut, or altered by the buyer. If an item arrives broken, please photograph the box and the specimen immediately. We'll make it right.

Liability Disclaimers

While we provide educational resources on mineralogy, the information on Geode Glimmer is for educational purposes only. We're curators, not medical professionals. Any traditional uses mentioned for various crystals shouldn't replace professional medical advice.

In no event shall Geode Glimmer be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the site or products purchased. Our total liability is limited strictly to the purchase price of the item in question.
